Haiti Earthquake Response
In 2010, our team performed over 115 life-saving surgeries in the aftermath of Haiti's devastating earthquake, working in makeshift facilities to bring hope to those who needed it most.

Burundi 2026
We're returning to Burundi, one of the world's poorest nations, to perform 200+ surgeries, refurbish operating rooms, and train local medical staff. Over 70% of the population lives on less than $2.15 per day, and there's fewer than 1 physician per 100,000 people.

Founded in 2004, Project Change: Bermuda is a registered charity dedicated to providing high-quality plastic and reconstructive surgery to indigent patients in developing nations. Our mission is simple yet profound: to heal children who cannot access the medical care they desperately need.
Led by Dr. Christopher L. Johnson, a renowned plastic surgeon and Chairman of Bermuda's Road Safety Council, our volunteer medical teams have performed over 350 life-changing operations across five countries. From emergency earthquake response in Haiti to ongoing missions in Ecuador, Tanzania, and planned returns to Burundi, we bring world-class medical care to the world's most vulnerable children.
What sets us apart is our commitment to sustainable impact. We don't just perform surgeries – we train local medical staff, refurbish operating rooms, donate equipment, and build lasting partnerships with local hospitals and communities.
